Raila Junior has publicly criticized Nacada director Vincent Muasya, known as Chipukeezy, for rejecting calls to legalize medical marijuana without participating in a scheduled debate.

The politician alleged Muasya declined an invitation to discuss the issue months prior, later expressing opposition during a press conference. "I was invited for an interview to debate Muasya on the medical bill, but he never honored the invitation," Raila tweeted. "It's disappointing to see him address the matter now."

Muasya, who leads the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse, dismissed the legalization push as political posturing. "Many politicians promoting marijuana legalization are creating unnecessary hype," he stated. "Most patients suffering from mental health issues owe their conditions to substance use."
