On August 5, 2019, a group of secondary school children were arrested in Nakuru County, sparking concerns over their alleged involvement in watching pornographic material at a local mall.
However, an investigation by the police, as revealed by KFCB CEO Ezekiel Mutua, found that the children were actually playing video games, not watching explicit content.
Following the findings, Mutua announced that the film shop owner's license would not be revoked, as he was cleared of any wrongdoing.
Despite this, Mutua issued a stern warning to entertainment joints distributing pornographic material to minors, stating that any establishment found guilty would face license revocation and potential court charges.
