Former IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba has denied rumors that he is battling cancer, contrary to reports that circulated on social media on August 2.
Chiloba, who was the Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), took to his social media platforms to dismiss the rumors, stating that he is in good health and has been participating in physical activities.
On July 1, Chiloba participated in a 10.5km run, which he shared on his Twitter account, saying 'Please disregard fake news being spread. Those who spread rumors do not care about the suffering of cancer patients. I am healthy and just yesterday I participated in a 10.5km run which I am grateful for. Who is Hivipunde? Ushindwe!'
Chiloba's statement comes after reports emerged on August 2 claiming that he had been hospitalized due to cancer. However, Chiloba has denied these claims, stating that he is in good health and has been participating in physical activities.
