Published on August 5, 2019, Manchester City are reportedly in talks with Juventus over a potential swap deal that would see Brazilian full-back Danilo move to Italy in exchange for Portuguese right-back Joao Cancelo.
According to sources, City manager Pep Guardiola is keen to strengthen his options on the right flank, with the team already having £45m England right-back Kyle Walker in their squad.
The proposed deal would see City pay a fee in addition to Danilo joining Juventus, with Cancelo, 25, having also played further forward and at left-back during his career.
Cancelo joined Juventus from Valencia for £35m in 2018 after spending a season on loan at Inter Milan, and was part of the Portugal squad that won the Nations League earlier this summer.
Meanwhile, Danilo has made 60 appearances in all competitions for City since joining from Real Madrid for £26.5m in 2017, but has rarely been viewed as a first-choice player, with only 22 league starts to his name.
