Kenyan media personality Larry Madowo has been met with a chilly reception in the United States, following his tweets about the recent mass shootings that left 29 dead and over 50 injured.

On his first weekend living in the US, Madowo shared his shock and concern about the shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, which he described as a 'hell hole'.

His tweet, which attracted 1.3k retweets and 5.1 likes, sparked a heated exchange with a Twitter user named John Siebert, who told Madowo to 'go back home' (Kenya).

Siebert's response, which included a derogatory comment about Madowo's home country, was met with widespread criticism from fans and fellow Twitter users.

One user, Philemon Kibor, cautioned Madowo to 'watch out for the Police' and 'a mass shooter', while another, Karen Sargernt, welcomed Madowo to the US and apologized for the 'mess' that the country was in.

Other users, including Karimi Kinot and Tezira, expressed their shock and concern about the shootings and the US's response to them.

As a Kenyan living in the US, Madowo's experience highlights the complexities and challenges of navigating different cultures and societies.
