Kenya's Harambee Stars suffered a disappointing exit from the 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) after losing 4-1 to Tanzania's Taifa Stars in a penalty shootout on August 4, 2019, at Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi.
The match ended 0-0 in regular time, but Tanzania's Taifa Stars emerged victorious in the penalty shootout, with Clifton Miheso scoring Kenya's only penalty kick.

Sebastian Migne expressed his disappointment with the result, saying, 'I think we missed some maturity, which is very important in football. We had some opportunities, I tried to find offensive combinations but we failed to click in the final third.'
He added, 'I can't have an excuse for the result. We were offered everything to compete in this match, but that's football. I gave my best and I have a fantastic team and they tried to find ways to win. It's a difficult time for us, but I'm still under contract.'
