On August 4, 2019, a family in Homa Bay, Kenya, received news that their relative, Kennedy Olwa, had passed away. The family had not heard from him in over 20 years.
They began making arrangements for his burial, and his body was being kept at the Homa Bay Mortuary.
However, when the family received news that his body had been taken by the police to the mortuary, they went to identify it. Upon seeing the body, they confirmed it was indeed Olwa's.
But in a shocking turn of events, Olwa showed up alive at his home, causing chaos and confusion among the mourners.
He had been listening to the funeral announcements on the radio and decided to reveal himself to his family, claiming he was still alive.
However, the family did not believe him until they saw him in person. The mourners were left confused, wondering if they were seeing a ghost or a spirit.
The family was forced to take the body back to the mortuary and cancel the funeral arrangements.
Now, the authorities are investigating the incident to prevent such a mix-up from happening again.
