December 29, 2017, was a day of celebration for NASA supporters as Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka returned to Kenya after a brief trip to Germany to attend to his wife.
The postponement of the December 12, 2017, swearing-in ceremony had left many supporters disillusioned, with some accusing NASA leadership of playing mind games.
However, Kalonzo's speech upon his return, in which he reaffirmed his commitment to the NASA cause, was a timely reminder that the movement was still on track.
His unequivocal support for the NASA agenda was a blow to Jubilee's 'divide and rule' strategy, which had sought to create rifts between NASA principals.
As NASA supporters, we must maintain our unity and work together to achieve our goal of effective democracy in Kenya.
