On Saturday, August 3, 2019, Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa was involved in a road accident at Ndengelwa in Kanduyi Constituency, Bungoma County.
Two pedestrians who were injured in the incident were rushed to Bungoma County Referral Hospital for treatment.
Despite being involved in the accident, MP Barasa and his driver escaped unhurt and proceeded to attend a burial at Ranje in Kanduyi constituency.
They boarded a car belonging to Bungoma Woman Representative Catherine Nanyala Wambilianga.
