On Saturday, August 3, 2019, Ruaraka Sports Club pulled off a major upset by defeating Swamibapa by six wickets in the Hirani Telecoms Invitational T20 semi-final at Sikh Union.

Meanwhile, at Jamhuri High School, Kanbis secured a 33-run victory over Sir Ali Muslim Club in the second semi-final, with Kanbis scoring 153 for 6 in 20 overs and Sir Ali Muslim Club managing 120 for 8 in 20 overs.

As a result, Kanbis will face off against Ruaraka in the final at Sikh Union on Sunday, August 4, 2019, starting at 1:30 pm.

Swamibapa's batting performance was hindered by the tight bowling of Ruaraka, with the team being restricted to 92 runs by the time all their batsmen were sent back to the pavilion, two balls before the allotted 20 overs.

Swamibapa's top scorer was Morris Ouma, who managed 30 runs off 29 balls with three boundaries.

However, Swamibapa's wickets fell at regular intervals, with only Irfan Karim (12 off 10 balls with three boundaries) and Emmanuel Bundi (10 off 20 balls) posting double-digit figures.

For Ruaraka, Neel Akash was the highest runs getter with 40 runs off 41 deliveries, including four boundaries and five sixes.
