On Saturday, August 3, 2019, Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa was involved in a road accident at Ndengelwa in Bungoma county, Kenya.
According to reports, Barasa was heading to a funeral function at Ranje area in Kanduyi constituency when the incident happened.
His driver reportedly lost control of the car and veered off the road, causing the Toyota Prado to roll several times.
The car hit two cyclists who were rushed to Bungoma county referral hospital.
Fortunately, Barasa and his driver escaped the accident unhurt and proceeded to the funeral function later on.
At the time of publishing, the lawmaker had not commented on the incident.
