Manchester United are in advanced talks to sign Paulo Dybala from Juventus in a potential swap deal that would see Romelu Lukaku head in the other direction, according to reports in Italy.
The Red Devils are willing to offer the Argentina international a salary of £10 million a year, plus bonuses, to join the club, with Dybala's representatives reportedly demanding £350,000 a week to make the switch to Manchester.
However, it is understood that Dybala is reluctant to leave Juventus, where he has been a key player since joining from Palermo in 2015, but could be forced to accept that he does not feature prominently in the plans of new boss Maurizio Sarri.
With United currently not able to offer Champions League football, the club are in a hurry to get the deal done, with less than a week until the Premier League transfer deadline.
It is understood that Lukaku, who had also been a target for Inter Milan, has already agreed terms to join Juventus, and United are also reportedly in separate talks with the Serie A club over a £15m move for Mario Mandzukic.
