East African Got Talent Show: A Must-Watch This Sunday ¶
After months of preparations, the inaugural East African Got Talent show, powered by Safaricom, is set to air this Sunday on Citizen TV at 8 pm EAT. The show promises to showcase an endless pool of talent in the region, with acts ranging from comedy to singing, acrobats, and stunts.
The show's host, Ann Kansiime, is a Ugandan queen of comedy who fits the bill perfectly. She will be joined by a panel of judges, including Jeff Koinange (Kenya), Gaetano Kagwa (Uganda), Vanessa Mdee (Tanzania), and Makeda Mahadeo (Rwanda).
The judges' bench is expected to bring a lot of excitement to the show, with each judge bringing their unique perspective and style. Jeff Koinange is known for his tough and honest critiques, while Gaetano Kagwa is expected to be the sympathetic uncle who soothes fragile egos. Vanessa Mdee is expected to bring a mellow and gentle approach, while Makeda Mahadeo will be expected to settle stalemates and make tough decisions.
With a prize money of Ksh 5,000,000, the competition is expected to be fierce, and the show stoppers are likely to be the illusionists and magicians. The show is open to all acts, as long as they are safe, sane, and do not include nudity.
