August 3, 2019, marked a day when Diamond Platnumz's health raised eyebrows. A viral video of the celebrated East African artiste showed him looking unwell during an interview.

His manager, Babu Tale, has since spoken out about the situation, stating that Diamond needs a doctor to help him manage his workload.

According to Tale, Diamond is a focused artiste who overworks himself. He explained that the singer is responsible for every aspect of his music, from preparing his own clothes to styling himself and directing music videos.

'Tanzania, we are not professional,' Tale said, highlighting Diamond's self-sufficiency. 'He prepares his own clothes, styles himself, and directs everything in his music videos.'

Tale's use of the word 'overdose' to describe Diamond's work ethic has sparked concern, with many wondering if the singer is pushing himself too hard.

'Diamond anaji-overdose,' Tale said. 'He needs his own doctor...we need somebody to help us, maybe a doctor.'

Despite the challenges, Tale remains optimistic, urging others to seize opportunities when they arise. 'If your time has reached for you to look for money, look for it. Opportunity never comes twice.'

As Wasafi Festival continues to tour East Africa, Diamond's health remains a pressing concern. The festival has already made stops in Uganda and Burundi, with Kenya hosting a successful event on December 31, 2018.
