August 3, 2019, marked the beginning of a tumultuous period in the marriage of gospel artist Eko Dydda and his wife Cynthia Ayugi.
According to Cynthia, she has 'walked away' from Eko due to his infidelity, specifically his relationship with her best friend.
She made this revelation in an angry Instagram post, stating, 'Breaking someone's marriage is not GODLY, I invited you as a friend, today unasema ambia Eko Dydda not to bring me home because love yenu haita grow.'
She also accused Eko of lying to the public, saying, 'It's not a battle, @ekodydda you don't have to hide it any more your 'DOPE' is free to love you, sometimes it's healthy to walk away.'
Cynthia, who is the mother of Eko's two boys, confirmed that she has broken up with the rapper and is now living in a separate place.
She also accused Eko of mentioning his family in interviews, despite not living with them, and of causing negativity in their lives.
When reached for comment, Eko was noncommittal about his wife's post, saying, 'I have told you many times that I don’t respond to anything negative.'
However, he did comment on deleting his wife's pictures from his Instagram page, stating, 'The reason is because a celebrity is also human. He can also decide to delete things from their page. It is not a must that it is a negative reason, there are other reasons.'
