On Friday night, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) apprehended Corporal Nicholas Kemboi, a KDF soldier stationed at the Department of Defense (DOD) headquarters, in connection with a car theft case.
According to the DCI, Corporal Kemboi is suspected of stealing the vehicle and altering its registration number and colour.
Another suspect, Eric Oduor, had previously been arrested and arraigned in court but was out on bond at the time of the arrest.
Corporal Kemboi is set to appear in court on Monday to face charges of stealing a motor vehicle, contrary to Section 278A of the Penal Code.
