KDF Soldier Arrested Over Car Theft in Nairobi

On Friday night, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) arrested Corporal Nicholas Kemboi, a soldier based at the Department of Defense (DOD) headquarters, in connection with the theft of a car.

According to the DCI, Kemboi is suspected of stealing the motor vehicle and altering its registration number and colour.

Another suspect, Eric Oduor, had previously been arrested and arraigned in court but was out on bond at the time of Kemboi's arrest.

Corporal Kemboi is set to be arraigned in court on Monday to face charges of stealing a motor vehicle, contrary to Section 278A of the Penal Code.
