On Saturday, Kibra MP Ken Okoth will be cremated in a private event in Nairobi, as previously planned.
This decision comes after Ken's wife Monica Okoth and Anne Thumbi, who claimed to be his wife, signed a consent that was adopted by a Nairobi Court.
Thumbi, a Nairobi MCA, had moved to court on Thursday seeking to have the family of Okoth compelled to allow her son Jayden Baraka Okoth to be recognized and take part in the interment plans.
Monica Okoth and Thumbi also agreed that a DNA test be undertaken to confirm the paternity of Jayden.
According to ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna, the cremation will proceed as scheduled.
