Kenya Hockey Union premier league action continues at City Park, where United States International University-Africa (USIU-A) men's team will be seeking redemption in their first half of the season.

With a six-match winless streak, the students are eager to register their first win since their 2-0 victory over Chase Sailors in March.

Head coach Tom Olal has expressed concern over the team's poor run, attributing it to lapses in concentration. 'I can't specifically point out our weak points, but I think we are conceding a lot of goals, and above all, we have been losing focus in many occasions,' Olal said.

On the other hand, Wazalendo have been a revelation this season, registering four wins, two draws, and one loss, ranking third on the log with 14 points, same as Kenya Police, who have a superior goal difference.

Despite their recent form, USIU reigned supreme last season, beating Wazalendo by a solitary goal in the two fixtures. However, Olal is keen to focus on the present, saying, 'I believe what worked in the past may not necessarily work in the present. We will play our game, and beating them is a plus for us.'
