On August 2, 2019, the Kenyan government relaxed marriage requirements for citizens marrying foreigners, making it easier for Kenyans to mingle with international partners.

According to an official government document, the simplified requirements include a valid Kenyan ID and a passport.

Several Kenyan celebrities have already taken advantage of this new policy, including Wendy Kimani, Emmy Kosgei, and Nyota Ndogo, who are all married to foreigners.

Corazon Kwamboka is also in a relationship with a foreigner, taking advantage of the new relaxed requirements.
