Manchester United's interest in Harry Maguire has reached a boiling point, with the England defender set to miss Leicester's friendly against Atalanta on August 2.
According to reports, Maguire has made it clear to Leicester that he wants to join Manchester United, but the two clubs are far apart in their valuation of the defender.
Manchester United are reportedly willing to pay Sh10 billion for Maguire, but Leicester are holding out for Sh10.6 billion, a figure that United are unwilling to meet.
Leicester's stance remains unchanged, with the club insisting that they will not sell Maguire unless someone is prepared to meet their valuation.
Maguire, who started in Leicester's 2-1 victory over Stoke on July 27, has been left frustrated by the situation and has decided not to play in the friendly against Atalanta.
It is understood that the decision to keep Maguire out of the match was a joint one, taken by Leicester, manager Brendan Rodgers, and Maguire himself.
