On August 2, 2019, Monica Okoth, wife of the late Kibra MP Ken Okoth, made a concession to allow DNA sampling to proceed, paving the way for the cremation to continue as planned.
According to the consent draft, the applicant is at liberty to collect DNA samples from the late Ken Okoth by 2 PM on the same day.
The consent also states that the boy, believed to be Ken Okoth's son, is at liberty to participate in the final rights of the late Ken Okoth.
Both parties are at liberty to apply for other orders.
