Published on August 2, 2019, a mzee from Jambo area in Lanet found himself at odds with his son who had sold his matofali meant for building a house.
The mzee had retired and started a project to make matofali and build houses to increase his income.
However, his son had other plans and decided to sell the matofali and use the money to buy beer and entertain his mother-in-law.
The mzee was furious and threatened to disown his son.
"Bure kabisa, umeiba matofali yote na hivi karibuni utaanza kuchukua mabati upige mnada. Ninataka matofali yangu au nikulaani," the mzee was quoted saying.
It is not clear what will happen next, but one thing is certain - the mzee is not happy with his son's actions.
