According to Netflix US Twitter, a staggering 34,355,956 households around the world watched La Casa de Papel Part 3 in its first week. This impressive viewership number has been confirmed by Variety as the 'best first-week global result ever for a Netflix non-English-language series.'

Money Heist has also set records as the most-watched Netflix series and/or film of all time in several different territories around the world. For comparison, the third season of Stranger Things was watched in its entirety within the first week by 18.2 million people. Stranger Things Season 3 set a global viewing record with 40.7 million household accounts watching the season in its first four days.
