On Thursday night, a police pursuit of a stolen lorry led to a fatal shooting at Utalii College in Ruaraka Constituency.
According to police, the suspects had stolen a lorry from Utawala area and defied orders to stop, attempting to run over a police vehicle.
As the suspects drove off, police officers gave chase, resulting in an exchange of fire at Utalii College, where one of the suspects was fatally shot.
Police recovered a Ceska Pistol with rounds of ammunition from the scene.
Three accomplices managed to escape and disappeared into the Mathare slums.
