Willy Paul's latest song 'Lamba Nyoyo' has sparked controversy, with fans expressing their anger and calling out the Saldido records boss for igniting controversy to stay relevant.

Debuted on YouTube two days ago, the song has already gained 293k views and is trending at number one on the platform.

Responding to the backlash, Willy Paul said that everyone is entitled to their opinion about him, adding that most people did not understand the song.

“I don't think I should comment on everything that gets said about me. Besides, people are entitled to their opinions, But sometimes it's good for people to take their time and find the motive of something before they comment. I don't think you have heard the end of that (song). There is a lot more to come,” he added.

Other singers, including Avril, Octopizzo, and Ivlyn Mutua, have also called out Willy Paul over the song, with Octopizzo accusing him of being childish.

Uploaded on Saldido records' YouTube account, the song is more of the Ethic and Ochunglo family's style of singing.
