Published on August 2, 2019, a popular gossip page in Tanzania, UdakuTz, sparked a heated debate on social media by claiming that WCB President Diamond Platnumz was in a romantic relationship with singer Lulu Diva.
However, Diamond Platnumz has refuted these claims, cautioning netizens to respect his family.
According to the gossip page, the alleged relationship between Diamond Platnumz and Lulu Diva started after a video of the two interacting at a listening party for Romy Jon's album went viral.
But Diamond Platnumz has denied these allegations, stating, "Sina mahusiano nae! na naomba tuheshiamiane kwa kila anesambaza usenge huu." (I have no relationship with her! I request that you all respect my family.)
It's worth noting that Lulu Diva has been in a relationship with Starehe MP Charles Njagua, also known as Jaguar, for the past four months.
Just days ago, Lulu Diva confirmed that she had been dating Jaguar for the past four months after being friends for some time.
"Wala siyo ghafla kama watu wanavyodhani. Tulianza kama miezi mine nyuma na sasa tumeamua kuweka wazi," said Lulu Diva, meaning "It's not sudden as people think. We started a few months ago and now we've decided to make it public."
