Emmy Kosgei Madubuko, a renowned gospel singer, has shared her thoughts on dressing for her husband Apostle Anselm Madubuko. In an interview with Parent Magazine, published on August 2, 2019, she discussed her fashion choices in Lagos and during concerts.
According to Kosgei, her husband prefers her to wear very fitting clothes when they are in Lagos. She explained, 'In Lagos I wear very fitting clothes because that's what my husband likes.'
However, when she is performing at concerts, Kosgei prefers to wear flowing clothes, which she finds comfortable. She stated, 'But when I'm doing concerts I like flowing clothes because that's what I'm comfortable with.'
Kosgei emphasized the importance of being mindful of her attire, especially when singing. She said, 'I'm very conscious of how I dress and I don't want anything to take away my attention because if I wear tight or fitting clothes when I want to sing, people are looking at me and I feel like they're looking at my hips or my legs.'
She added, 'So if you wear tight clothes, you disorganize your audience.'
Emmy Kosgei and Apostle Anselm Madubuko tied the knot in 2013 in a colorful wedding ceremony at Windsor Golf Club. The couple has since made Lagos their home, with Apostle Madubuko serving as the General Overseer of Revival Assembly Church.
