JB Masanduku's wedding to his fiancée Jackie Karanja, initially set for August 24, has been rescheduled to November 11. The couple decided to change the date to honor JB Masanduku's late mother, whose birthday falls on November 11.
According to JB Masanduku, he wanted to honor his late mother and the person he loves by getting married on her birthday. 'That is my late mum's birthday and I want to honour her as I honour the person I love. I have talked to my people and the plans are all set. She chose to honour my mum,' he told Word Is.
JB Masanduku's big day is expected to be a star-studded affair, with guests including Teacher Wanjiku, DJ Shiti, Betty Kyallo, Churchill, and Deputy President William Ruto.
This will be JB Masanduku's second marriage, following his short-lived union with Tina Kaggia. In an interview, JB Masanduku revealed that he and Tina rushed into marriage, with him proposing to her just 11 days after meeting.
JB Masanduku met Tina at Radio Jambo, where he was auditioning for a show. He later worked with her and their chemistry translated off-air, leading him to propose. However, their relationship was marked by drinking and fighting, with JB Masanduku admitting that Tina would often punch him.
