Chelsea has confirmed the departure of midfielder Kasey Palmer to Bristol City, where he will join former teammates Jay Dasilva and Tomas Kalas.
Palmer, who joined Chelsea's academy from Charlton Athletic in 2013, had a successful loan spell with Bristol City in the second half of last season, making 17 appearances for the Championship outfit.
During his time at Chelsea, Palmer won the UEFA Youth League twice and two FA Youth Cups. His last appearance with the first team came during Chelsea's pre-season clash against Bohemians.
Palmer has signed a four-year deal with Bristol City, which will keep him at Ashton Gate until 2023. The England youth international is set to link up with his former teammates at the club.
Chelsea thanked Palmer for his services to the club in a statement confirming his departure on August 1, 2019.
Palmer had previously had loan spells with Huddersfield Town, Derby County, and Blackburn Rovers.
