Published on August 1, 2019, reports emerged that the US intelligence believes Hamza, son of Al-Qaeda founder Osama Bin Laden, has died in a military operation.
According to sources, the US had a role in his death but did not provide details, with an official stating that the US government recently received evidence that it believes corroborates his death.
Hamza was killed in a military operation in the last two years, with the US government involved, but the exact date and time were unclear.
Hamza's whereabouts had been a subject of interest, with the US government offering $1m for information leading to his location in February this year.
