Kenyan celebrities Risper Faith and Brenda Wairimu have sparked a conversation about the pros and cons of sharing their children's faces on social media.
At the end of 2018, Risper Faith welcomed a son and shared a photo of his hand, a common practice among celebrities who prefer to keep their children's faces private.
However, Risper Faith has expressed concerns about posting her son's face, stating that the internet is a 'very cruel place.'
When a fan asked her to post a photo of her son, Risper Faith replied, 'The internet is a very cruel place.'
Actress Diana Marua advised Risper Faith that she doesn't have to share photos of her son if she's not comfortable doing so.
Similarly, Brenda Wairimu has also chosen not to share her daughter's face on social media, citing her desire to protect her child from scrutiny.
In an interview on 'The Trend,' Brenda Wairimu explained, 'We are a very young family and we do not want to subject our family to scrutiny. I'm very protective of things I hold dear.'
