Published on August 1, 2019, a report emerged that Switch TV presenter Jackie Matubia and her husband Kennedy Njogu had broken up. The speculation was fueled by the couple's decision to remove each other's photos from their social media accounts.
However, in a recent interview with Parents Magazine, Jackie Matubia revealed that the couple had actually celebrated their 3rd anniversary as a legally married couple in May of the same year.
According to Matubia, the couple made the decision to keep each other off social media to avoid intrusion and negativity. She explained, "It was something we decided on together. Back when we were dating, we were all over social media and lovey-dovey but after a while we realized that we were opening up our marriage to people which could affect us negatively so we stopped. Not that it’s wrong for those who post, it’s just not for us."
