Published on August 1, 2019, Nyasuguta, a talented Kenyan actress, has revealed that she is done with dating 'jokers' and is now looking for a serious husband.
Speaking to Word Is, Nyasuguta shared her requirements for a potential partner, stating that the person should be God-fearing and financially stable.
'I am very single and looking for a husband. The person should be God-fearing and one who will not see me as a sponsor but should have their money,' she said.
Nyasuguta's desire for a serious relationship stems from her traumatic past, where she witnessed her parents' violent relationship. Her mother was frequently battered by her father, leaving Nyasuguta with deep-seated fears of men.
'My mother has been more of a single parent to me because my dad left our home when I was still young. My mother's experience in marriage made me vow to keep off relationships. I love being alone,' Nyasuguta recalled.
However, Nyasuguta's past experiences have not deterred her from seeking love. She is now a single mother of two, who is solely raising her children without the support of their father.
'We have to keep on following each other and he keeps on involving his parents,' Nyasuguta said about her baby daddy.
Her message to deadbeat dads is clear: accept your responsibilities and avoid future regrets.
'God is watching all deadbeat daddies. They will grow but they will never take care of their dad in future,' Nyasuguta warned.
