Chairman Charles Muchene announced the news on Thursday, stating that Ms. Chieng will cease to be a board member effective July 31, 2018.
Ms. Odwesso, 51, has served diligently on the board and committees since being appointed in 2014, providing wise counsel and insightful opinions that have contributed to shaping the bank's decisions.

The lender is currently seeking Ksh65 million from the sale of assets from its three closed branches, which it hopes to achieve by the end of the year.
