Published on August 1, 2019, Kenyan rapper Octopizzo has joined thousands of others in criticizing gospel singer Willy Paul's new song 'Lamba Nyonyo'.

The song, which has been widely panned for its poor quality, has been accused of being a copy of Ethic's 'Lamba Lolo'. Octopizzo took to social media to express his disappointment, calling the song 'trashy' and questioning Willy Paul's faith.

'Sisi sio kama wasee wengine, sijui lamba nyonyo, hii ni ukweli sio photoshop, kwanza hii raia ya kulamba nyonyo. Hukumaliza kunyoya nini? Unafaa vibare, acha nirudi mtaani zikushikishe uokoke mara mbili,' Octopizzo wrote on social media.
