Comedian JB Masanduku is counting down the months to his wedding, which might be graced by Deputy President William Ruto. The ceremony is scheduled for November 11, a date chosen in honour of his late mother.
JB's decision to postpone the wedding from August 24 to November 11 was motivated by a desire to pay tribute to his mother, who passed away. He revealed that his fiancée, Jackie Karanja, has often spoken about how she would have loved to meet her.
"That is my late mum's birthday and I want to honour her as I honour the person I love," JB told Word Is. "I have talked to my people and the plans are all set. She chose to honour my mum," he added.
JB described his mother as the most generous person he knew, who taught him valuable lessons about patience and reaction. He has invited popular personalities like comedian Churchill, Teacher Wanjiku, DJ Shiti, and TV presenter Betty Kyallo to the wedding.
"Ruto was easy when I invited him," JB said, indicating that the Deputy President accepted the invitation without hesitation.
