Published on August 1, 2019, Victor Wanyama, the captain of the Kenya national team, has denied rumors of a potential transfer to Turkish clubs Fenerbahce and Galatasaray, as well as London rivals West Ham.
A reported fee of £20 million (Sh2.5 billion) has been mentioned in media outlets, but Wanyama remains committed to his current team.
“I don’t want to dwell on speculation. I’m not going anywhere,” Wanyama stated.
He emphasized his intention to remain with Tottenham Hotspur and contribute to the team’s success in the upcoming season.
Wanyama’s statement comes amidst speculation that he may be replaced by new signings, including Tanguy Ndombele, Harry Winks, and Moussa Sissoko.
Despite his commitment to Spurs, Wanyama’s future remains uncertain, with a potential transfer to Turkey still possible before the end of the month.
