Dagoretti High, Serani Storm Under 16 Semis ¶

Secondary Schools National Term Two Under 16 games have seen Dagoretti High School and Serani Boys from Coast Region storm into the semi-finals.
On July 31, 2019, Dagoretti High School edged Agoro Sare 2-0 from Nyanza, while Boys Town from North Eastern thrashed Machakos Boys 6-1. Serani Boys from Coast Region fought hard to beat Koyonzo from Western 1-0.
Hezekiah Omuri opened the scoring for Dagoretti High School in the 25th minute, while captain Jesse Okoth completed the job with a fine strike in the 75th minute.
Boys Town's Mohammed Abdi scored the first goal in the sixth minute, followed by Abdi Hassan doubling the lead in the 12th minute. Abdulahi Siyat made it 3-0 in the third minute, and Issah Mohammed grabbed a brace in the 44th and 54th minute. Siyat completed his brace at the hour mark to ensure Boys Town pick their second win to proceed to the semi-finals.
However, Boys Town has a last group match against Dagoretti which will decide the winner of the group.
Other matches saw Gatamaiyu from Central region narrowly edge Goseta from Rift Valley 2-1, while Serani Boys from Coast Region edged Koyonzo from Western by a solitary goal.
The semi-finals will be played on Friday, with the finals slated for Saturday.
