Comedian Nasra Yususf publicly stated her interest in becoming Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho's 10th wife, noting Islamic law permits multiple marriages. The Churchill Show performer shared a photograph of Joho on social media, emphasizing her readiness to serve as master of ceremonies to reduce wedding expenses.

Yususf, recognized as Kenya's first prominent Somali female comedian, highlighted her offer amid reports of Joho's high-profile relationships. The governor, who is married, is permitted to have additional spouses under Islamic teachings. Yususf's post included a Swahili caption translating to: "If the sultan wants a 10th wife, don't hesitate, in fact, even our chief is ready without hesitation," according to the original report.

The March 11, 2019, post sparked discussion about public figures' personal life remarks and religious practices in Kenyan politics.
