"Seeing you gone is not easy but I’m comforted that you finally gave your life to Christ. Hallelujah!" She reflected on supporting his musical career, recalling how she purchased equipment to help him pursue his art.
Kantai's wife, Irene, remembered their life together, highlighting cherished moments like family meals, weekend trips to Kasarani, and their shared love for German Shepherds. "I miss you, my darling. Your smile and touch," she said. "The nights, the days, our dreams. Even though you’re gone, you’re never forgotten. You’re in my heart always."
The service concluded with a spiritual reflection, as Eunice Naeku quoted scripture: "We were very close friends and shared so much. Now in my heart there is a big vacuum. But my comfort is that greater is he who is in you than he who is the world. 1 John 4.4. Amen."
