On July 31, 2019, a group of students found themselves in a difficult situation after they were allegedly caught watching pornographic content at a Nakuru mall.

According to reports, more than 50 students were detained by Nakuru County officers after a tip-off from traders at Shoppers Paradise.

The traders had allegedly witnessed the students watching pornographic videos, contradicting claims that the students were at the mall to play computer games popularly known as PS4.

The students are currently being held at Old Town Hall, awaiting a police directive.
