During a social media post, Miguna argued that President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto, NASA leader Raila Odinga, and Atwoli himself should be targeted first. "The primitive and corrupt COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli said on JKL that we should 'hang or shoot thieves,'" Miguna quoted. He added, "I suggest we start with the biggest and juiciest thieves in Kenya—Uhuru Kenyatta, William Ruto, Raila Odinga, and Francis Atwoli."
