The Nairobi Securities Exchange has confirmed the continued suspension of Kenol Kobil shares following Rubis Energie's successful acquisition of 97% of the company's outstanding shares. The Central Market Authority mandated the停牌 in accordance with regulatory procedures.

Rubis Energie's tender offer, which secured overwhelming investor participation, positions the French energy group to fully consolidate Kenol Kobil's operations. The company is currently executing the share transfer process to its account, with final payments to investors pending completion.

Once the transaction is finalized, Kenol Kobil will seek regulatory approval to delist from the exchange. This marks the third corporate exit from the NSE in two years, though exchange officials characterize the departure as indicative of market maturity and attractive investment opportunities.
