Boeing has canceled the ceremonial debut of its 777X widebody aircraft following the March 10, 2019, crash of an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 Max 8 that killed 157 people. A company spokesperson confirmed no technical delays to the 777X program but stated the event would not proceed as planned in Seattle. "We will look for an opportunity to mark the new plane with the world in the near future," the statement said.
