A Mombasa-based banker is grappling with an unexpected predicament after a sex worker he hired last weekend refused to leave his apartment, claiming she expects marriage.

The 28-year-old, who identified himself as Davie, described how he met the woman at a nightclub in Mombasa CBD. After drinking with friends, he invited her to his Tudor Estate apartment instead of a guest house, seeking to minimize costs.

"It turned out to be one of my worst mistakes in life so far," Davie admitted. He reported waking up to find the woman preparing breakfast, despite having no prior agreement for her to stay.

Though she left his valuables untouched, including Sh10,000 in cash, the woman surprised him by returning later with a briefcase. She introduced herself as Lucy and pleaded to become his wife, citing his single status and offering to quit her job as a "night nurse."

Davie revealed he is engaged to a Nairobi-based girlfriend who is pregnant, adding, "What am I going to tell her?" He also described ongoing ridicule from friends who learned of his situation.

Despite his reluctance, the woman remains in his home, maintaining the apartment and providing meals. "She’s also very good in bed," Davie confessed to Crazy Monday, highlighting the complex dynamic he now faces.
