A video clip shared by local designer and fashion house owner Mama Foli shows Foxx participating in the popular Kenyan chant.
When asked to say 'Wamlambez', Foxx responded with 'Wamnyonyez', a response that has become synonymous with the movement.
Notably, Foxx is not the first US celebrity to be drawn into the Wamlambez euphoria. Last week, national Sevens Rugby player Biko Adema was filmed urging American actress, singer, and songwriter Christina Milian to join in.
The Wamlambez song, released in April this year, has gained significant traction, with over 2 million views on YouTube and counting.
The song's popularity can be attributed to the collective efforts of Miracle Baby, Shalkido, Masilver, Lexxy Young, and Qoqosjuma, who perform under the stage name Sailors.
