Kenyan musician Diamond Platinumz has been at the center of controversy after being accused of using drugs. However, his mother, Sandra Kassim, has come out to deny these claims, stating that her son has never used drugs and knows the harm they can cause.
Speaking to Global Online TV, Sandra explained that Diamond's behavior, which has led to him being accused of substance abuse, is due to his busy schedule and frequent performances.
"We know his schedule is tight, and he performs a lot. When he's on stage, he gets tired, and his voice gets strained. He looks tired and sleepy, but that's not because he's using drugs," Sandra said.
She also revealed that Diamond's management team is planning to hire a doctor who will accompany him to all his performances to monitor his health.
These claims of Diamond using drugs were first made by blogger Mange Kimambi, who posted a video of the musician looking disoriented and sleepy.
