Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Official with Snapdragon 855, Dual Cameras, and In-Display Fingerprint Tech ¶
On July 31, 2019, Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Tab S6, a tablet that boasts impressive specs and features.
The Galaxy Tab S6 is set to be available in select markets starting in early September, with pre-orders opening in the U.S. on August 23 and shipping beginning on September 6th. However, it may take weeks for the tablet to arrive in Kenya, with local pricing expected to be around Kshs 70,000.
The tablet features a 10.5-inch WQXGA display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, up to 8GB RAM, and a 7040mAh battery. It also boasts a dual-lens 13MP + 5MP main camera, an 8MP front camera, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Galaxy Tab S6 comes with a range of accessories, including a Book Cover Keyboard, Book Cover, POGO Charging Dock, and S Pen with a 0.35mAh battery. The tablet is available in three colors: Mountain Gray, Cloud Blue, and Rose Blush.
One of the notable features of the Galaxy Tab S6 is its updated DeX, which makes it easier to get in and out of the desktop experience. The new One UI also comes with elements optimized for touchscreens, and the updated S-Pen now works with DeX.
The keyboard accessory has been improved to include a trackpad and function keys, making it more flexible. However, it costs $180 or about Kshs 18,000, which is separate from the tablet's price.
