Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has finalized his squad for the March 23 Afcon 2019 qualifier against Kenya, with captain Asamoah Gyan omitted for the second consecutive encounter.
The 23-player lineup includes three Asante Kotoko players: goalkeeper Felix Annan and defenders Amos Frimpong and Kwame Bonsu. Foreign-based stars such as Crystal Palace's Jordan Ayew and Atlético Madrid's Thomas Partey headline the team.
Ghana trails Kenya in Group F with six points, one behind the host nation after their September 2018 1-0 defeat. Both teams have secured spots in the 2019 Afcon tournament set for Egypt.
